Response To Intervention

  Response to Intervention (RTI) is a system of supports that schools put in place to provide high-quality education to students that are struggling.  It  is a multi-tier approach to the early identification and support of students with learning and behavior needs. The RTI process begins with high-quality instruction and universal screening of all children in the general education classroom.   

 Three tiers of RTI support incude:

• Tier 1: The whole class.
• Tier 2: Small group interventions.
• Tier 3: Intensive interventions.
